At the end of this article, you'll find a recap of all the versions that have been launched in July.
Google Merchant important update
You have certainely received a message from the Google Shopping Team recently.
Indeed, merchants in certain countries will soon see the ability to use a singlefeed to target multiplecountries at once. Which is for you a real time saver with far less effort.
This feature will only be available for certain countries. Note that you can target:
Norway: using English feeds from Sweden, Denmark and Great Britain
Sweden: using English feeds from Norway, Denmark and Great Britain
Denmark: using English feeds from Sweden, Norway and Great Britain
Austria: using German or English feeds from Germany
Belgium: using French feeds from France, Dutch or English feeds from the Netherlands and English feeds from Ireland
Imagine that you are a retailer based in France. You will be able to create a primary feed with France as the target country, French as the language of your feed and EUR as the currency.
Then, you can use that feed to create a Shopping campaign targeting France but also use that same feed to create a Shopping campaign to target Belgium.
You will need to create different shipping services for each country that your products target in order for these feeds to work in these new countries.
To know more, you can check the Google Merchant documentation.
You can easily create your Google Shopping feed with our extension which is also available on Magento 2.
